“The Hills” star Lauren Conrad was the central character on the show back when it was a huge hit on MTV. Her best friend at the time, Heidi Montag, made headlines after meeting Spencer Pratt and the couple quickly became the hated characters on the show. And now, Spencer is revealing that Lauren probably profited from his bad behaviour. According to a new Us Magazine report published on Dec. 9, “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad's millions supposedly came from Spencer's behaviour.
"I regret playing the villain so hard with not saving my money," Spencer revealed during a special on E! called “After Shock: Heidi & Spencer.” "I would be laughing all the way to the bank being a hated multimillionaire right now. But I didn't see the Jersey Shore coming just out of left field, taking reality TV to a whole other level that I wasn't prepared to go to. I felt like I was low enough. I wasn't ready to start peeing on dance floors, but maybe I should have. If you're going to be so hated and make decisions that affect your whole life, you should save all that money instead of spending it like you're Diddy."
One can imagine that Pratt does have plenty of regrets from the show, but he does think that him being the villain on the show helped out Lauren Conrad. "I think I was mutually beneficial [to her]," he said of Conrad, now a fashion designer and best-selling author. "I think I helped her show get millions of more viewers and helped her get millions of more dollars. I took all the dirt for the show, and I was the bad guy and she got to be the good girl. We could have a mutual, 'I'm sorry,' 'you're sorry.' But it's like, I helped you make millions, and you helped me make millions."
One can imagine that Lauren would contribute her millions to hard work and staying focused on work. And one can imagine that Lauren isn’t exactly planning on sending Spencer a check for his hard work on "The Hills."
Do you think he has a point?
