'The Hills': Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag topics of conversation on finale night

As a part of the grand finale to MTV's "The Hills" Tuesday night, a number of the show's former stars were a topic of conversation.

First of all, we got to Heidi Montag, who was not invited to the finale party due to clashes with production and creator Adam DiVello. However, that did not keep her from waxing poetic on Twitter:

"wow time has really flown by these past few years! One door closes and another one opens. What a day

"looking back over the years I could never have guessed life would turn out this way not in a million years"

Meanwhile, Lo Bosworth took the time to chat about Lauren Conrad's contributions to the show in an interview with MTV:

"I'm really excited [that she's coming back for the finale]. I am of the belief that it is Lauren Conrad's show [and] that she deserves to go out with all the glory, so I'm really excited that she's coming back,"

I am speechless. This show has has such on impact on my life. All these characters have life styles that you just dream of having. It's so sad this unbelievable show has ended. It's legacy will be felt by all. The show has inspired me to change and do something different with my life. I just want to thank every one who was involved with this show. You are the best I love you so much.

Finally!! This show started out good...and then just became nothing more than another scripted and predictable soap opera. Unfortunately, the cast ended up like most on all the reality shows. The first season is good and you get a glimpse into the characters and their "everyday" lives, and then they all just turn into self promoting, self aware, and completely fame hungry bores.

This show was for the stupid. I mean really how shallow of a nation to idolize these complete morons. What a waste of energy, time. This show has made the country more dumb.
