MVP3 Entertainment Group and JND Films announce their signing with humorist and amateur theologian, Stevie Rey. Rey is the author of the book "The HillBilly Bible," which, according to Marie Pizano, CEO of MVP3, is "a southern rendering of the Book of John."
Marie says her company is planning to produce a movie based on Rey's book. and that they will kick off this collaboration with a book signing of The HillBilly Bible at "BookSellers," located at Perkins Extended and Poplar on Saturday January 12, 3013, beginning at 2:00PM. She states that, "the forces of film, music and community will come together at this event."
In addition to the book signing, "The School of Rock," which is loacted across the street from BookSellers, will have its Grand Opening, and students will sing songs written by the Beatles, and the BookSellers Bistro will be serving "Hillbilly Moonshine." (That's sweet tea and hot fruit tea). Also, those attending this book signing will be able to meet Stevie Ray, author of the book, as well as the film director, producers and some of the musicians that will be involved in the making of this film.
According to Marie, the film will be shot in the Memphis area, utilizing as much area talents as possible. She also states that a major Hollowood actor is interested in this film, as are some world renowned musicians. She proudly announces that the film will be a family friendly film that the entire family can enjoy.
With all this said, mark your calendars for January 12, 2013 and come out and meet with this group of amazing people, as well as other area actors, writers and musicians, who will also be at the book signing.
