A feature film will soon be shot in the town of Somerville, Tennessee, which is in the Memphis metropolitan area. The town was chosen because of its many antebellum homes and yesterday atmosphere.
If you have ever traveled to Somerville, you had to be struck by the beauty of its homes and businesses that have changed very little since they were built here. Somerville seems to control its own environment, and refuses to enter into the fast paced world around it.
That is what makes the town the perfect location for this film. A film about a modern day family that inherit a home that has been in their family since before the Civil War. The home and vast land that they inherit is mysteriously called "Estate Estremita," and it holds many secrets, which the family unwillingly is pulled into. It is a battle of good verses evil, and until you watch the finished product, you will not know who wins the battle.
Auditions for the film will be held in Somerville, Tenn. in March, 2013. The exact location, dates and times will follow in an additional article. Yarbrough Media Productions will be in charge of filming, with production and direction by Gerry Glenn Jones. In addition to the film, a novel with the same name will be released. If you like horror/thriller/mysteries, this will be a film you must see and a book you must read.
