The Ashmore Estates, in Central Illinois, is a paranormal national treasure. This treasure was hit by a tornado late last month and the roof was taken off of the. Thank goodness that everyone is OK, even the animals.

Check the official web site, click on link above, to check out how special this building is and how important its architecture is to the history of the area.

Read the history of the building.

If you watch the TV shows that feature ghost hunting, you've probably seen this place and its interesting story.

Owners Scott and Tanya Kelley are in a bit of shock about what happened.

Below is a statement from "The Booth Brothers" paranormal documentary and horror filmmakers.

"We are truly devastated with the news about Ashmore. Scott and Tanya Kelley, the owners are in bad shape about the loss of their building. They are trying to rebuild and with your help we may be able to put a roof back on this lovely piece of gothic architecture. It's an incredible location, perfect for tours, paranormal investigations and a Halloween haunted house. If you can, please give what you can to help rebuild Ashmore Estates. Anything will help. There are no guarantees we will be able to save Ashmore, but we are going to damn well try and with your help we stand a better chance to get Ashmore Estates open again. Bless you.....The Booth Brothers. Here is the email address that you can send a donation via paypal to: skelley@consolidated.net

You can also send a check or money order to: Ashmore Estates 22645 E CR 1050N Ashmore, IL 61912

The paranormal community always pulls together when one of their own is in need. Just ask for prayers, they are the first to be there with blessings and prayers.

Christopher and Phillip Booth, are donating $10 from each "Children of the Grave II" DVD sold. The DVD will be autographed. This is a sequel so you might want to pick up the first film, "Children of the Grave." Two great paranormal documentaries that tell of the spirits of children and has some amazing video and EVPs.

I would like to challenge the TV shows, all of them, to donate to this fund. They can really use your help.

Many paranormal groups have hunted here and gotten great evidence. The community needs Ashmore for future hunts.
