The Hard Working Americans set up shop in Atlanta

This Thursday night the Hard Working Americans will be bringing their take on the music of some of the best songwriters out there to Atlanta. Todd Snider along with his brothers-in-arms Dave Schools, Duane Trucks, Neal Casal and Chad Staehly will take the stage at the Variety Playhouse for a night of tunes that should be anything but boring.

The crew of veteran musicians joined forces on their debut self-titled album full of songs from other people. Music from Kevn Kinney, Hayes Carll, Gillian Welch and many more grace the records play list. These are not cover versions but reinventions by the Hard Working Americans. They deconstruct each song then build them up as if they were the original artist giving each tune am alternative life. Thursday we all get to hear these songs live with maybe a few other surprises.

Joining the band are fellow Nashvillians Turbo Fruits and their ear blistering rock and roll should be the perfect appetizer for the Hard Working Americans. If you dig bad ass guitar riffs and thunderous rhythms then you are not going to want to miss these dudes.

This should be one of the best shows of the week here in Atlanta with all of your daily rock, country and folk requirements met in one night. The show starts at 8pm so you are going to want to get there early so you do not miss any of the music. Music from the Hard Working Americans and the Turbo Fruits are the perfect way to kick off the weekend early.
