Much of life is in the lessons we learn by being present and aware on the earth. This is true. Learning the lessons presented by the circumstances we are presented with lead us to enlightenment. What though, is “enlightenment?” Enlightenment is a personal thing. What it means to one person may not be what it means to another. Put simply, it means to master what you came to earth to master. In pursuit of perfecting our spirit, we are given many opportunities to live a circumstance that is designed to teach us, and to lead us down the path of awakening. The trick is to recognize these situations as a learning and growth opportunity.
When we do this, we become fully realized beings. The hanged man card of tarot reminds of this. It reminds us to examine the situations of our life from a different perspective. Instead of looking at the pain of a difficult situation, look for the lesson it can teach us. This will accelerate our growth and help us reach the light that much quicker.
To learn from a lesson, from a life situation is to graduate from that lesson and move on. If you do not learn the lesson that the life situation was designed to teach you, you will revisit the situation in other forms, finding more chances to learn. Always be aware of life lessons. Examine situations to as to ascertain the lesson to be learned. Really examine it. Ask for divine help in seeing and hearing the lesson if you do not sense it right away. If you do not learn, it will rise again in another form to try and be learned again. These are for your ultimate best good. Remember this. Synchronicities are ever being created to bring these opportunities to you.
Often, you will be reminded of the original lesson opportunity in a dream. Examine the dream. Reflect on the dream. Reflect on the dream and examine the situation that the dream is taking you back to. Find the lesson. Perhaps you were too close to the subject when you first experienced it, or were not of the mind set to examine for a lesson. The dream gives you a second chance. The dream reminds you that there is something unfinished left over from the original occurrence, and unless you examine it now, you are heading into the next opportunity learn it; a new opportunity is under way in manifestation. If you examine the dream and figure it out, then perhaps the new lesson opportunity will not be necessary and your energy can be put towards new growth.
Think about it. How many times do you want to keep reliving the same scenario in your life? This is a normal thing to do- we notice that the same thing keeps coming up, and we keep saying, “This always happens to me. “ Of course this always happens to you, and it will continue to do so until you experience it fully, get from it what you are meant to get from it, and become that much stronger for it.
What are you waiting for? The next time you catch yourself saying, “This always happens to me” look at it from a different angle. Ascertain what it is that you are resisting from it and incorporate this into your awareness. Now you have mastered this aspect of your life. Now you are not a victim of it, but a guru from it. This is the hanged man’s contribution to enlightenment.
