Welcome to the Pac-10: In the latest development in the NCAA conference shuffle, Utah becomes the 12th school in the Pac-10, which means that beginning in 2011, the Utes will now go head to head every season with UCLA, Stanford and Oregon State. Can't wait. (Examiner.com)

Consternation in California: News that the Cal Golden Bears men's gymnastics program might be on the chopping block is sending shockwaves through the U.S. men's gymnastics community. Cal gymnastics has set up a website, Cal Gymnastics Forever (also on Facebook!) which is looking into accepting donations for the program. Japan Cup changes: Alex Naddour and John Orozco have replaced Danell Leyva and Tim McNeill on the U.S.'s Japan Cup roster. The meet will be held July 3-4 in Tokyo. (Gymnastics Coaching)

Terin the cop: Double Olympic silver medalist Terin Humphrey took the police academy by storm. Among other things, she did 105 pushups in a minute, coming close to the record set by her older brother Shannon (108) when he was at the Academy ("I was so mad," Humphrey said.)
