This week in disciplinary hearings: Brazil's Daiane dos Santos, who tested positive for the diuretic furosemide last summer, appeared before an International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Disciplinary Commission this week. The commission will bring its findings to the FIG Presidential Commission Jan. 26. It's worth noting that Vietnamese gymnast Do Thi Ngan Truong, who tested positive for diuretics at the 2008 Olympics, was suspended from international competition for a year. (Gymnastics Coaching)
Zonderland Dutch Sportsman of the Year: The World high bar silver medalist, 23, was voted Sportsman of the Year by other Dutch athletes for his high bar heroics at the 2009 Worlds and World Cup meets. (Sportwereld)

Voronin Cup results: Young Viktoria Komova and Dmitry Barkalov won the Mikhail Voronin Cup, held this week in Moscow. The Voronin Cup is officially the last major meet of 2009, and caps off a highly impressive year for Komova, who with junior sensation Aliya Mustafina is expected to create a huge sensation on the senior scene during the next few years. This week in disciplinary hearings II: 2000 Chinese Olympic team members Dong Fangxiao and Yang Yun also appeared before the FIG's Disciplinary Commission this weekend, along with their parents and two Chinese gymnastics officials. The Disciplinary Commission will submit its findings to the FIG's Executive Committee Feb. 26. The FIG can sanction China if it decides Yang and Dong were underage, but only the International Olympic Committee can strip a country of its medals. (Associated Press)
Another award for Kupets: Her NCAA gymnastics career is over, but the accolades keep rolling in for former Georgia gymnast Courtney Kupets, perhaps the best gymnast ever to compete for a university. Kupets was honored last week with the NCAA Today's Top VIII award, which is given to eight outstanding NCAA athletes/people who have completed their eligibility. Other award recipients included Florida's Tim Tebow (football), Alabama's Brittany Rogers (softball) and Wheaton's Kent Raymond (basketball). (Georgiadogs.com)

Oh and, Raj was at WOGA and told everyone he's not even training so the odds he'll be at a meet in two months (Winter Cup) is very, very slim.
Hmm ... Funny how you "corrected" you erroneous story about Natasha Kelly then deleted the comment that showed you up. Perhaps you should take some classes in basic journalism. The proper way to do online corrections is to cross out the incorrect info which acknowledges and shows your error. At the very least a notation should be made. You can NOT just change a story.
