For the second year, Denver Comic Con will be bringing three days of fandom overload to the Colorado Convention Center. After last year’s guest list, it is hard to imagine how it could get any better. Well it has! Online web series “The Guild” and stars from the show will be highlighted at 2013’s event.
Considered the princess of fandom, Felicia Day has been a mainstay of the online community. She has starred in “Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog” along with “The Guild”. She recently started an online YouTube channel called “Geek and Sundry”. Felicia Day portrays Cyd Sherman (Codex) on the hit series “The Guild”.
Sandeep Parikh
As Zaboo on “The Guild” his character is the catalyst for the entire show. After he runs away and decides to move in with Codex, the Guild must get involved and become friends outside of the game. Not only is he an actor, he is also a writer and producer. Sandeep Parikh can also be seen on other hit shows such as “Community” and “Californication”.
Robin Thorsen
Her portrayal of Clara on “The Guild” brings even more comedy to the show. As the mother who would rather play online with her friends, Thorsen’s character has fun no matter what the cost. With a history in theatre, she has appeared in numerous shows. She can also be seen on “Parks and Recreation and “After Lately”.
As the leader of a rival guild ‘The Axis of Anarchy’, Wil Wheaton is Fawkes on “The Guild”. Known for his time as Wesley Crusher on “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, he has also been on many television series and movies such as “Stand By Me” and “The Big Bang Theory”. Wil Wheaton currently has an online show on “Geek and Sundry” called “Tabletop”.
As the beautiful Madeline on “The Guild”, Erin Gray plays Vork’s favorite character on the show ‘Time Rings’. Originally known as Colonel Wilma Deering in “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”, Gray has an extensive television and film career. She has appeared in “Silver Spoons”, “Murder She Wrote”, and “Magnum, P.I.”.
