Although many prefer to spend Labor Day by the lake with family and friends, several movie fans enjoy hitting the theaters. That wasn’t the case this year though, it was a very slow extended weekend for Hollywood. On Tuesday, the Box Office updated their charts to feature the top 10 movies of the weekend.

It wasn’t tough for “Guardians of the Galaxy” to defend their top spot, since nothing too exciting was released over the weekend. Star-Lord and his crew accumulated $22.1 million over the long weekend, passing “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”s domestic total. “Guardians” is on the way to become one of the highest grossing films of the year.

The two debuts, “As Above/So Below” and “The November Man” landed at number five and number six. Horror feature “As Above/So Below” collected $10.3 million, while “The November Man” followed close behind with $10.2 million.
