As Rockstar Games promised earlier this week, more details have emerged regarding the first DLC pack for Grand Theft Auto V. The developer confirmed on Oct 25 that the Beach Bum Pack will become the first add-on for GTA 5 when it launches early November. Originally announced only connected to the game’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online, Rockstar Games has now revealed that content from the upcoming free DLC can also be used inside the title’s single player campaign.
The Beach Bum Pack will introduce four more vehicles and two additional weapons to both online and single player modes. Exclusive to GTA Online, the DLC will offer several new customization options such as hairstyles and tattoos. Additionally, players will receive access to new only missions from the add-on which includes new beach-themed survivals, deathmatches, and races.
Grand Theft Auto V is now available only on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The Beach Bum Pack DLC add-on is currently scheduled to release next month. While the base game was released in Sept, GTA Online’s servers weren’t turned on until Oct 1. Those who own GTA 5 can now play the title’s online multiplayer mode for free.
