As summer begins to wind down there is still plenty of exciting and unique things to do at the Great Lakes Science Center. Along with fantastic IMAX movies, hundreds of hands on exhibits, the Steamship William G. Mather (including the fantastic hard-hat tour and Air Show Deck Party), the NASA Glen Visitors Center and the Lego Travel Adventure you can easily spend an entire day or two in order to see and experience everything that the Center has to offer. Plan a family visit today before the school year begins. It’s a great way to cap off the summer.

Climb aboard this floating museum and discover a piece of Great Lakes history. Take a self-guided tour and explore this restored 618-foot freighter from stem to stern. See its huge cargo holds, brass and oak pilot house, elegant guest quarters and four-story engine room. Walk the decks and marvel at the “engineering firsts” that transformed Northeast Ohio into a great industrial center. $8 adults, $6 youth, ages 5 – 12. (Free for members.)
