The Grascals recently taped an appearance on Larry's Country Diner on RFD-TV, and the show is set to air this Saturday, March 19 at 11 p.m. Eastern/10 p.m. Central.
Country star Darryl Worley joined the group for "White Lightning," his duet from the band's new CD The Grascals & Friends - Country Classics with a Bluegrass Spin, which currently holds the top spot on Billboard's Bluegrass Album chart. The Grascals also performed "I Am Strong" and "Louisiana Saturday Night" from that CD, rounding out their performance with the classics "Up This Hill and Down," "Red Apple Rag" and "Dooley."
The musicians enjoyed the taping. "It's always great fun," Grascals' co-founder Terry Eldredge said in a press release."You never know what's going to happen, and this time, Larry surprised us with classic TV footage of The Osborne Brothers' performance of 'Up This Hill' on the set's jukebox - and then we performed it ourselves. Very cool."
