On my first visit to Dallas more than 20 years ago, friends took us to a steak house in Grapevine for a memorable evening of country music and two-step. I had just completed a series of dance lessons at Arthur Murray’s, and it was the perfect opportunity to strut my stuff on the dance floor (wishful thinking and not at all reality).
Grapevine is a historic, charming town nestled between Dallas and Fort Worth and is perfect for a weekend getaway. It has a great sense of community and there are plenty of adventures to be had from touring the local winery’s to taking a tour on one of the vintage railroads, or attending one of the many local festivals.
