The Grammy Museum presents “Backstage Pass with BC Jean,” a new Grammy Museum educational program that provides LA high school music students from the inner city an up-close & personal, interactive experience with a notable recording artist. Students can ask questions about the artists’ career and have the opportunity to experience an intimate performance in the 200-seat Clive Davis Theater. BC will debut a new song that’s never been performed at this event along with her hit singles & lead an interactive Q&A.
BC Jean is an edgy pop-rock recording artist signed to RCA Records best known for co-writing Beyonce’s smash hit single “If I Were A Boy.” The single topped 11 charts world-wide and was certified platinum after just 12 weeks. It was Beyonce’s first certified gold single and highest-selling solo single in the UK. Additionally, it was the 68th biggest selling single of the last decade. Reba McEntire, Hannah Montana, Kimberly Caldwell, Jessica Lourdes have all released BC songs.
Adam Lambert will release a BC song in March 2012 on his new highly anticipated album "Trespassing". BC’s current singles include “I’ll Survive You,” a follow up track to her Top 40 charting debut single “Just A Guy.” Her two new releases that just came out are “Anyone” and “Stand Up” from her new Alloy web series “TALENT,” from the executive producers of “Pretty Little Liars.”
