"The government isn't the answer for your health part 2"

"The government isn't the answer for your health part 2

By Joe Breen C.F.T.

Last time I spoke of how the Government is not the answer to our weight loss needs. Now I will discuss how we can take charge of our health. We don't need Mayor Bloomberg or any of the so-called leaders sticking their noses into our lives. What we do need is a little common sense. However as a stockbroker told me long ago common sense is not common. One of the things you have to ask yourself is this. Is the food I am eating enriching my life? Do I feel better after a meal or rundown? I am not a fan of the word diet, the first three letters spell die. What I am a fan of is small daily steps to improve our lives.

Instead we should opt for a lifestyle that doesn't deprive us of anything. Instead we should look to have things in moderation. One trick you can do if you have a weakness for a certain food, is to procrastinate when it comes to eating a certain treat you like. You may done this in other areas of life, why would it be a problem here. The other thing you can do is schedule those meals that are a little high in sugar for later in the day. That way if you eat them at night, they will make you tired or sluggish, you will see this effect and you will want to eat these foods less and less. Think about this the health club industry is a billion dollar business, they didn't need an government offical telling people to go to the gym. People did it on their own and so can you. Also you need to focus on your mental diet as much as what you eat. Get a good book like "Percolate" and stay away from the negative things in life.
