The New Hampshire GOP Primary could be a make-or-break moment for many of the potential presidential nominee.
Former Massachusetts Govenor Mitt Romney leads in the Granite State, although people like former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman has almost bet the whole farm on a GOP upset. Huntsman has been in Hew Hampshire for months but looks like he's barely made a dent, although he's not given up.
All the candidates behind Romney wants to derail his campaign train before its too late. They've tried to attack him during Sunday morning's debate on NBC, which was moderated by NBC anchor David Gregory.
They've referred to him as a moderate, anti-conservative, weak, unprincipled, and untruthful candidate for president. Yet, none of the men have gone sofar as to say he's unelectable.
Many of the GOP candidates and American public believe the alleged "moderate" will have a tough time defeating President Barack Obama. One candidate in particular is Texas Governor Rick Perry.
While Perry was once leading the GOP primary, he has since sunk in the polls, and things might be more bleek for him with his troubles in Virginia.
The situation in Virginia has become complicated and involves Perry not getting on the ballot because he didn't have enough valid signatures collected by his campaign.
He has decided to sue the state of Virginia to get on he ballot, and that has angered many of the people who would be his base in the state: The state Tea Party.
Now, the Virginia Tea Party has issues of their own. Many of them like Perry, but don't appreciate him attempting to change their state laws to get on the ballot. Some have said he's had more than enough time to get the required number of signatures.
Some of the members of the Tea Party in VA agree with Perry, while others don't; just like some support Virginia's GOP U.S. Senate nominee George Allen, and some don't. In both cases they are unsure, but in the case of Allen, they are even more unsure. George Allen is a Republican, as are almost all the Tea Partiers, but still...they are unhappy with Allen potentially being the GOP nominee. Some are so bothered that they've even considered backing the Democratic nominee just so Allen doesn't win.
Allen does have has the backing of many Virginia lawmakers.
