A dose of at least five cups of green tea a day can give one enough EGCG to help protect against cognitive decline and as a result may also stop the onset of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases as well as minimize the damage to and speed the brain’s recovery from a heart attack.

Green tea can also be found bottled, sometimes already chilled and ready for your enjoyment complements of brands such as Snapple, Tazo, and Honest Tea, to name a few, and can also be found at the mentioned markets in Jersey City as well as in Walgreens, two of which are located on Kennedy Boulevard – one near Communipaw and the other nearest City Line, in gourmet shops like Liberty Towers Gourmet Market, right off the Essex Street light rail stop, and Starbucks coffee shops such as the ones at the Pavonia and Grove Street PATH stops.
