The God above all gods

See also

Did you know that God has more than one name by believers? Some call Him Father God, Heavenly Father, Yahweh, Jehovah God, Alpha and Omega, and the Lord my God all addressing the same amazing God. This is the same God who created everything; the universe, human life, and all life form. This would be the same God who loves and cares for you long before you even make a choice to know Him. He knew you before you were even born! The same God that I am writing about and pray to is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Scripture teaches that Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them? ”God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.'" God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation". Exodus 3:13-15

When you pray remind yourself that God is the God above all other gods, and wants your complete devotion. All other gods are manmade, folklore, myths, and shaped in various images by mans hands each carved or molded by wood, stone, or metal. Those gods never came back from the dead like Jesus did, He defeated death and is seated at the right hand preparing a glorious heavenly home for us. When anyone prays to God for whatever their needs are, prayers are answered. When you pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob then you are praying to the same God of all creation the “I am who I am.” You are praying to the same God that Israel and Christians alike pray to, not some manmade myth or fairytale. Never trust on human wisdom but on God’s power. God is real and He is crazy about you!

Some religions practice teaching manmade philosophy that believers outside their own religions do not all pray to their same God, even when praying in the name of Jesus. I assure you that God is hearing your prayers when asking in Jesus name! As believers we are all pointed to walk toward the same God who created us, and favors us with blessings. Be diligent in tuning out every misinformed manmade doctrine that does not show God’s immense love and plan of salvation for you! Danger always lurks for those who are taking away, changing, or adding to God’s word. Continue to pray and nurture your relationship with God, especially reading scripture asking the Holy Spirit to show and reveal to you who God is. It will not take long to realize how much God loves and cares for you! Have a safe and happy holiday season, and as always stay blessed and in His favor!
