The Glory Bugles return to TPAC with '800 Miles Off Broadway'

For reasons unknown, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center has just announced they have invited the musically-challenged, theologically baffled foursome known as The Glory Bugles back to the stage in September.

The Glory Bugles: Stevan Pippin, Nan Gurley, Bonnie Keen & Wayne Gurley

The Glory Bugles are actually four accomplished, award-winning Nashville performers -- former Screen Actors Guild (TN) Nashville President Stevan Pippin; award-winning actress, producer and songwriter Nan Gurley; best-selling author, speaker and national Christian recording artist Bonnie Keen; and actor, singer and producer Wayne Gurley (husband of Nan Gurley).

Making Fun at Holier-Than-Thou-ism

The talented quartet transforms themselves into The Glory Bugles to take a humorous look at legalism and 'holier than thou-ism' through humorous songs and skits.

800 Miles Off Broadway

In their new show “800 Miles Off Broadway,” the local foursome continues their spoof of a fictional Gospel quartet from the town of Box Springs, Tennessee. The show offers more holiness-gone-haywire through music and performance, complete with beehive hairdos, leisure suits and gems of wisdom like "If your hair's too long, there's sin in your heart."

September 8-11

"800 Miles Off Broadway" with The Glory Bugles runs September 8-11. For more details, visit The Glory Bugles Bring '800 Miles Off Broadway' to TPAC
