As the leaves change colors and the weather begins to cool, The Nashville Zoo allows the ghouls to come out to play. The Ghouls at Grassmere will invade the Nashville Zoo two weeks in October from October 18 to October 20 and again on October 24 until October 27. The event will run nightly on those dates from 5:00 PM CST until 9:00 PM.
The annual event is also a fundraising effort for The Nashville Zoo and will include family fun activities throughout the zoo area. The Zoo encourages guests to dress in costume and children can visit 20 trick-or-treating stations in the zoo. There will be tours for the Grassmere Mansion which will include dying traditions and superstitions. Children will have a few mazes they can wander through while visiting the zoo; the monster lab, the kookie kiddie kove and eerie estate will all be available.
While there don’t forget to enter your child in the costume contest and join in the fun while dancing to the Monster Mash. There will be a haunted hayride to brave and a monsterpiece theater.
Most of the animals in the zoo will be getting their required beauty sleep but guests can still visit the Unseen New World Exhibit at the Zoo. Admission for Zoo members will be $12 and for non-members the admission will be $15. Be sure to visit this family friendly event.
