Two of New Jersey's rising acts will join forces on an upcoming split. The acts in question? The Front Bottoms and GDP.

According to Property Of Zack, The Front Bottoms dropped the big news at SXSW yesterday. No word on when this split will be released or which label this will be released through.

Bergen County indie punk band The Front Bottoms will be playing a few more shows in the States before heading overseas for a month long European tour. Their latest release was last year's Talon of the Hawk.

West Orange rapper GDP has been touring all over North America in support of last summer's collaboration with producer The Wrong Address entitled Holla. Recently, the rapper dropped some new material from his upcoming mixtape entitled Permanent Vocation. That release is set to drop this Spring via Smokers Cough Records. He is also set to release some new music from Hash Money, his side project with Brooklyn based producer Space Jesus.
