"The Fosters" current season is coming to a close and Callie is all about helping her friends. The ABC Family drama is ending their summer finale with tensions among the Fosters and their friends is at an all-time high. In the August 18th finale episode of the show, Connor’s father pressures him to end his friendship with Jude, which leads Lena to make a life-changing decision. The tension mounts between Brandon and Lou, despite their band mate Mat’s warnings against drama. Someone from Jesus' past makes him see his relationship with Hayley in a whole new light and as a betrayal threatens the new bond that Callie is forging with the Quinns, Callie calls on her biological father to help save Rita’s Girls United Program.

The show is also planning their first interactive “The Fosters” After Show Live Party with stars David Lambert (Brandon) and Bailee Madison (Sophia) and the show’s executive producer, Peter Paige. Right after the summer finale of the show airs, “The Fosters” After Show Live Party will recap the show’s finale as Lambert, Madison and Paige will share their favorite moments and answer questions directly from fans. Fans who have questions for the stars can submit them on “The Fosters” Facebook page now through the live broadcast.

Classic TV Examiner caught up with one of the show’s stars, Hayden Byerly, at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards to get his thoughts on the finale and what’s ahead for his character Jude. As viewers of “The Fosters” know, Jude is the youngest member of the family who was recently adopted by Lena and Steph. Throughout the season, Jude has been struggling to fit in school and having to choose between his new family and Callie. Also as the young man is discovering who he is and making new friendships, particularly with Connor, some parents are raising eyebrows about The Fosters’ home.

“The Fosters” also stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez and airs Monday, August 18, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
