Fans of the Helen Fielding and the Bridget Jones diaries will be happy and sad to learn that Bridget is back! Last week, London and England (during my brief trip) were ablaze with comments, tears, and questions about the new installment of the Bridget Jones story. I won’t spoil the new saga for you, but read about it at:
(British) Sunday Times subscribers can get the entire story via Helen Fielding at:

Bridget Jones materializes, again, before us as a survivor again. She is a seasoned female that has undergone several voluntary and involuntary changes in her life. A true, modern, heroine, Bridget is finding her middle ground. She realizes (more than ever) that she has little control over her life. But, there are things that she can do to contribute to change and be happy with her decisions.
Most of all, Helen Fielding, the author, has changed. She is single at 55, the mother of two children. Could there be similarities? Only, you…the reader….can tell us. Welcome back the Bridget in all of us!
