Season 2 of “The Following” is now airing on Fox, and episode 2 airs Monday night. What can fans expect from the next show? It seems like there are more creepy moments ahead, according to the show's Facebook page on Jan. 25.
The show posted a still from the season 2 premiere, the “dance of death,” and shared a tease with fans. They wrote, “You thought this was creepy? See what Luke and Mark do in an all-new episode” airing Monday. Episode 2x02 is titled “For Joe,” and viewers will learn more about just what Joe Carroll has been doing this past year.
The official synopsis at TV Guide teases that Ryan Hardy's obsession with Joe Carroll will escalate now that the subway killings have taken place. He may have told the FBI he's not involved, but fans know after seeing that hidden room that he's knee-deep in this one. Hardy will get some phone calls that “bring him face-to-face with a major threat.”
“The Following” spoiler preview from The Hollywood Reporter shows that fans will see a lot of Joe in episode 2. Ryan and Lily, from the subway killing, will start to connect, and it seems fans can expect romance to develop. It's also clear that Ryan will be getting phone calls from Luke and Mark, and those lead to a meeting between the two sides after they stalk Lily.
Joe has been living off in the woods, and fans will learn more about the people he's with out there. How long will Carroll stay hidden away? Will the young girl, Mandy, stay quiet about the situation? It is said he's taken her under his wing, and she knows what he's done, so there may be some unsettling moments to come from that pairing.
Fans love what they've seen so far with season 2, and it looks like it's going to be a complex, creepy season. The season 2 premiere will air again Monday night, just ahead of episode 2, since many fans missed the first moments that started earlier than expected after the NFC Championship Game last weekend. “The Following” airs Monday nights on Fox.
