Spoiler TV released new promotional photos of the premiere episode of "The Following" Jan. 9, 2013. The photos - which can be viewed in the slideshow above - show the intensity this new crime fighting drama that stars Kevin Bacon as retired FBI agent Ryan Hardy and James Purefoy as a diabolical serial killer mastermind Joe Carroll who is creating loyal cult followers. The new series begins on FOX Jan. 21, 2013.
Ryan Hardy brought down Carroll in the first place and that is the reason he is called out of retirement to help bring down the serial killer cult leader and his followers who have gone on a killing spree across the country. The photos show Sarah Fuller (played by Maggie Grace) as a Carroll survivor, Claire Matthews (played by Natalie Zea) as Carroll's ex wife who shares a letter regarding her ex-huaband and other cast of characters.
