"The Following" season 2 continues next week with episode 7, "Sacrifice," for which FOX released a new sneak preview on Monday, Feb. 24, after "Fly Away."
In this next episode of "The Following," Ryan (Kevin Bacon) and the FBI continue the hunt for Lily Gray (Connie Nielsen), but when a new threat enters Max's (Jessica Stroup) life, they are forced to switch gears. Lily believes that Luke (Sam Underwood) is dead (but he was only almost dead at the end of the latest episode), and she's going to want revenge.
As the "Sacrifice" promo to the left shows, that means going after Ryan's family – specifically Max – and it sounds like she's going to end up in the hands of a known serial killer of women. Whatever you think of her, Gina (Valerie Cruz) is right when she tells Ryan he put the people he cares about in danger. What's going to happen to Max? Is this situation why Mike (Shawn Ashmore) looks so upset at the end of the preview? What other surprises does Lily have planned for Ryan?
Meanwhile, Joe (James Purefoy), Emma (Valorie Curry) and Mandy (Tiffany Boone) get to their newest hideout, but they quickly realize things aren't what they seem. That could be because they've found a new cult, and in this place, "you're the follower," Joe is told. Uh-oh. And this new cult is pretty disturbing, just from what the promo shows of it.
Plus, check out the slideshow for the promotional photos FOX has released from this episode, which include a look at two new characters – Micah, played by Jake Weber, and Kurt, played by Lee Tergeson – as well as the hunt for Lily, Ryan's wall of Joe and more.
"The Following" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on FOX. What do you think of the episode 7 "Sacrifice" photos and promo?
