Next to Halloween, Valentine’s Day has to be a dentist’s favorite holiday. Cavities galore from indulging in sugary sweets to keep him in business! If you’re looking for something sweet to do with your lovey-dovey this Valentine’s Day, how about attending the first Sweet Tooth Festival on Sunday, February 19 from 2pm-6pm.
Black Lion, located at 10605 Park Road will host the first ever celebration of all things confectionery showcasing 25 of Charlotte’s best bakeries, chocolatiers, pastry artisans, and home-based businesses. Tickets are $25 per person and include generous samples from each vendor and a goodie bag complete with a “To Go” container so you can enjoy your samples later in the day and not fall into a sugar induced coma during the event.
The participating vendors include:
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit The Joe Martin ALS Foundation, which provides homecare aides and nurses to create independence and possibility for people living with ALS.
The unique event is the work of the Sweet Tooth Fairies Rachel Sutherland and Rhonda Hodges, two girls who love treats, fun and sharing the latest and greatest with everyone.
