Now that the next presidential term of office is about to begin, so begins the responsibilities of the First Dog and owners to continuee to establish the pet policies in the White House.
Of course Bo, the Portuguese Water Dog, must be sure to continue his duites. There are walks, therapy sessions, public relations and companionship jobs.
The regular walks give him his break and allows his constituents a visit through the White House fence. His walkers clean up after him.
Aside from his public appearance during his walks, he has photo shoots with the first girls Sasha and Malia, the First Lady and, of course, the President.
As with any Milwaukee dog, B0 makes sure to keep the family healthy and happy. He must have his playtime with them. His companionship is therapy for the hectic environment that is the living conditions of the First Family.
Though the family wing of the White House is private, the daily schedule and unscheduled events of running the country is always paramount. The relaxing time Bo has with his family helps melt the stress.
