The first DLC for Undead Labs’ zombie title, State of Decay, is now at a stage in which the add-on is content complete. The developer announced on Oct 7 that the DLC has now been sent to Microsoft to undergo a pre-certification test. This means that the add-on is in its final stages where the game is checked for bugs that need to be removed before releasing.
The Breakdown DLC for State of Decay brings a new sandbox mode play style option to the Xbox Live Arcade title. Instead of focusing on a story element as is found in the game’s campaign, the sandbox mode challenges gamers to see how long they can survive inside the zombie outbreak. The longer those players survive, however, the more difficult the game becomes. Zombies will become stronger, faster, and more plentiful in number. In addition, resources are made increasingly scarce as are vehicles.
