Show this crazy March weather who is boss and come out this Friday for the debut event of Benjamin Cottrell Designs 2013 Spring Fashion Season featuring world-renowned, Bulgarian classical pianist, Ani Gogova, performing ON the runway at the historic Fine Arts building downtown.
Guests can look forward to an evening of performing arts and fashion featuring spring collections from two fantastic local designers, Paul Sisti and Fraley Le.
Paul Sisti began his fashion career at the Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago. His designs have been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times and Women’s Wear Daily. His style is characterized by elegance and simplicity, and he has dressed major names such as Patti La Belle.
Born and raised in Saigon City, Vietnam, Le moved to the U.S. in 1985 due to violence and turmoil in his home country. After many years of living in the U.S. sewing and tailoring clothing, he attended the International Academy of Design and Technology, earning a B.A. in Fashion Design –which marked the beginning of a successful fashion career.
VIP guests will have the chance to meet and mingle with the designers during a one-hour champagne reception with sweet bites from 7:00 -8:00PM. VIP guests will also enjoy runway seating, but act quickly to get your hands on these tickets –only 100 will be sold!
For the musical component of the evening, guests are in for a treat.
