The Ferguson Falcons played at home this Friday evening at 8 P.M. against the Braddock Bulldogs. It was their first conference game of the season. At the beginning of the first quarter it seemed like they might be heading for their third straight loss but the team kept on going and came back strong. It turned out that after losing the first two games of the season the Falcons seemed determined to not let the Bulldogs make it a third straight loss.
At half time the score was; Falcons 26 and the Bulldogs 16. Neither team scored in the second half as the Falcons contained the Bulldogs and maintained their lead with Falcons player Anthony Arce making an interception sealing the win for the team. The final score was; Falcons 26 and the Bulldogs 16.
Ferguson's next game will be Sept. 27 vs. Coral Park at Tropical Park starting at 7:30 P.M.. The rest of the season’s games will all be played at Tropical Park. Tropical Park charges an entrance fee of $5.00. There is plenty of parking and food service. The venue is well lit with plenty of security.
