The Ferguson Falcons played at home this Friday afternoon against the Miami Beach Tides. The first quarter stared off strong with the Falcons taking the lead with 7-0. In the second quarter the Tides caught up and at half time the score was tied 7-7.
In the second half the Falcons could not stop the Tides as they played better. The game was reminiscent of last Friday’s game when the Falcons lost to the Panthers in the season opener. The Falcons scored 6 in the third quarter and the Tides 13. In the last quarter the Tides once again dominated with a score of 13 while the Falcons scored 8. The final score was; Tides 33 and the Falcons 21.
Ferguson's next game will be Sept. 20 vs. Braddock at Tropical Park. The rest of the season’s games will all be played at Tropical Park. Tropical Park charges an entrance fee of $5.00. There is plenty of parking and food service. The venue is well lit with plenty of security.
