'The Fault in Our Stars' is No. 1 in U.S.; 'Edge of Tomorrow' is No. 3

According to a Box Office Mojo report published on June 8, "The Fault in Our Stars" (starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort) had $48.2 million in ticket sales for the weekend ending June 8, 2014.

Warner Bros Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow" (starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt) debuted at No. 3, with $29.1 million in ticket sales.

  • "Holiday" — $413,000 from 144 theaters
  • "Obvious Child" — $81,000 from three theaters
