Recently, leading eyewear brand, Arnette threw a stylish event at the Ace Hotel. The event dubbed the "#FacesofArnette", brought out New York's dynamic hipster crowd and showcased an array of fashionable sunglasses and optical frames by the youthful design company.
Arnette is a brand that was started in the early 90's in Orange County, California. Created by Greg Arnette, the eyewear is popular amongst X-Game sports figures and celebrities. With their laid back surfer style shades, Arnette has become an international success.
The affair had a cool Brooklyn, underground house party atmosphere. #FacesofArnette was all about eyewear that is fun but, ordinary. Collections included subtle thin Rx frames to bright colored sporty sunglasses with interchangeable parts for customization to your own personal style. Special edition glasses included collaborations with music pioneers like Slayer and Public Enemy. The talented street artist Samir Evol sketched art live, while the gorgeous DJ Becka Diamond provided tunes.
Arnette has plenty of skater boy sunnies, but is diverse enough as a brand to provide glasses that are also fashion-forward and timelessly sleek. If you thought the company was all about the boys, it isn't. These handcrafted glasses are sophisticated and great for both men and women. The best part is that they're comfortable, lightweight, durable with an affordable price point..
