The Fashion-Ade desktop app finds what to wear within your own closet

The days of declaring "I don't have a thing to wear" are virtually over.  The Fashion-Ade desktop application helps users find an outfit for any occasion by starting within their own closets.

Users begin by building their online "closet" with descriptions and pictures of the clothes, shoes and accessories they currently have and expressing their overall "Fashion Flavor" or style. From that information, as well as sizes  and geographical location, the app's "Outfit Engine" will put together clothing combinations with what is already owned.  Once the personal closet is complete, users can connect to others with similar styles to share and compare.  Fashion-Ade also partners with major retailers, such as Banana Republic, Nordstroms and Zappos that suggest items for purchase to compliment the outfits.

From the wardrobe-challenged to the seasoned-fashionista, Fashion-Ade is a great app that can save time and money.  It helps shorten the time spent staring aimlessly into the closet trying to figure out what goes with what.  Suggested combinations gives a fresh perspective on items already owned.  The urge to go buy a whole new outfit when all that may be needed is a scarf or belt is practically eliminated.

This unique concept created by Atlanta-based and woman-owned startup, Abundant Closet, combines taking inventory of what you currently have, searching the latest industry trends, comparing style ideas and getting wardrobe advice from friends, with all the fun of  shopping into a tool that does it all simultaneously from a computer.
