The Family YMCA of Easton is holding its second kindergarten readiness workshop

The YMCA of Easton childcare centers will be sponsoring their second “Kindergarten Readiness Workshop” for parents in the Easton School District. The workshop is open to the community and will be held at the main campus of the YMCA.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:00-7:30 pm. The speakers will include Ann Rider from Intermediate Unit 20 (IU 20) and Anita Hunt from the Family Connection and Success by Six programs of the EASD. They will be discussing how to prepare your child for Kindergarten and becoming familiar with the registration process of the EASD.

The workshop is free and childcare is provided; however space is limited so advance registration is required. Registrations are being accepted at all four childcare sites; please refer to our website (www.familyymca.org). For questions or additional information please contact Brenda Pickard, Marketing & Outreach Director, at 610-438-6210 or Brenda@familyymca.org.

If you know of a childcare center that is having an event please email me with the details at theresa@harnaragency.com.
