Oxygen will launch its newest reality show, "The Face," starring Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha, hosted by Nigel Barker not only on the Oxygen network, but also concurrently on its sister networks, Bravo and Style, all at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The seven episode series, produced by Shine America, looks to find the newest face of ULTA Beauty. The models have a chance to make a life-changing transformation through unprecedented access to real clients and national brands.
Before the premiere episode airs on Feb. 12, a one-hour special, "The Face: The Fight to Make the Final 12" will air on Feb. 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. But, fans can actually view the one hour special online starting Tue., Jan. 29 on VOD, Oxygen.com, Hulu.com, iTunes and Oxygen Mobile.
Thousands of girls auditioned to get a coveted spot in the competition, and it was a lucky 24 that made it to the final casting that would then pare it down further to just 12 girls. Each supermodel--Naomi, Karolina and Coco, would choose 4 girls whom they feel could win the competition, and they would mentor them, giving them their personal advice.
As the final 12 are chosen, the premiere episode will feature the girls moving into their ultra chic loft, and participating in their first Test Shoot lead by Naomi called "Who Wore It Better." With the challenge centered on creativity and knowledge, emotions run high as the eager young women strive to impress by putting together their best look while showcasing the same item of clothing as another contestant.
The drama continues to unfold as the teams compete in a Campaign challenge requiring them to interpret the frames of a storyboard for high-end fashion publication, W magazine, at a shoot on the docks overlooking New York City with legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
