The Fab Fourum strips down the John Lennon remastered albums

On the latest podcast of the Fab Fourum, co-hosts Tony Traguardo, Mitch Axelrod, Ken Michaels and Rob Leonard take a listen to the John Lennon remastered albums that were released in 2010 and discuss the pros and cons of the various releases.

The hosts discuss the pros and cons about the remixing the Lennon catalog in the previous incarnation of releases vs. remastering the original mixes in this round. Which sounds better?

Also discussed is whether the elimination of the bonus tracks in the new remasters was a wise move and whether the new reissues were even necessary or have become a necessary purchase.  And is this the final word on the John Lennon catalog?

The podcast is available at www.fabfourum.com, iTunes and http://www.podarama.com/fab_fourum/.

the remixes were fabulous. They sounded great (in particular, "JL/POB" and "IMAGINE," "MIND GAMES" and "ROCK AND ROLL."). I didn't buy the remasters, nor do I intend to.
There HAS to be more unreleased stuff available. It's all over YOUTUBE, for God's sakes! Give it a proper release!
