The Exploratorium To Host Pop Up Exhibit Today

The Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts closed its doors yesterday in preparation for their move in April to Pier 15 on the Embarcadero. It is sad to see the doors shuttered, but the fun and exploring will go on.

The Exploratorium will host its first pop up exhibit this morning in San Francisco. "Explainers," those are the fabulous people in the long coats that make all of the learning and exploring fun, will gather at the Palace of Fine Arts at 10:30 a.m. and then make their way through the city with stops at Fort Mason Green and Pier 39, with a final stop at Pier 15 at 3 p.m. Times and locations are a bit fluid and the Exploratorium recommends keeping tabs on the "Explainers" by following their Twitter feed.

This is only the first of many planned pop ups. The Exploratorium plan to host throughout the city until they throw open the doors at their new home on April 17.
