In his recent blog entitled, The Global Warming Hoax is Now Killing People, Alan Caruba says, “I and others have been warning for years that the Earth has been cooling since 1998 and that the planet is on the cusp of a new ice age because the average length of an interglacial period of warmth between such ages is now coming to an end after the passage of some 11,500 years.”
Caruba cites statistics that claim that an estimated 500 Europeans had died from the freezing weather gripping the continent and it is the price that Europeans are paying for embracing the global warming hoax. They spent billions for wind power when they should have been building coal-fired power plants and other sources of energy to heat their homes and businesses.
Stateside, the United States hasn’t built a single new nuclear plant since 1978. EPA rules are forcing the closure of coal-fired plants across the nation. The national grid for the distribution of electricity is in need of serious upgrades.
Obama has halted every sensible energy initiative from drilling for oil off our coasts to building the Keystone oil pipeline from Canada to Texas. His efforts to appease the greenies are costing Americans jobs. But worse, soaring fuel prices and the reduction in oil, natural gas, and coal production have made Americans woefully unprepared for future severe winters.
The global hoax was perpetrated on unwitting Americans to line the pockets of environmental hucksters and global warming snake-oil salesmen like Al Gore.
And yet, our government continues to throw billions of dollars into the wind, literally, to promote windmills, solar panels, battery-powered automobiles, and every other conceivable green energy scam.
According to Caruba, The lying scientists who got on the global warming gravy train should be driven from office, defunded, and chased through the streets like villagers in pursuit of Frankenstein.
I, for one, would like to see the Republican politicians vying for the GOP presidential nomination to outline their strategy to address our energy needs. That would go a long way toward helping me to decide who will get my vote.
