The Entrepreneur Center in Melville, NY offers dynamic small business solutions to guide Long Island entrepreneurs who are just starting out down the right path, and ensure that established entrepreneurs remain on it. Owning a successful small business can be a challenge, and starting one from scratch can be a daunting experience for an individual with no guidance or business background. The Entrepreneur Center is revolutionizing business education and offering professional experience and know-how to turn dreams into realities.
Following a dream: Business education
A difficult economy has resulted in a high rate of unemployment and underemployment and job satisfaction at alarmingly low levels. Many disillusioned employees have wished for something more but have not had the resources or guidance to allow them to make their dreams a reality.
That’s where The Entrepreneur Center steps in. Offering an intensive twelve-week class conveniently located in central Long Island, The Entrepreneur Center utilizes real world knowledge and a dynamic and innovative teaching style to immerse budding entrepreneurs in not just starting a business, but understanding a business.
“90 percent of entrepreneurs will fail due to a lack of experience, inability to think for themselves and failure to seek innovative opportunities,” says John Dano, Founder and Lead Educator at The Entrepreneur Center. “Our goal is to do more than simply provide a roadmap for starting a business. We teach business skills which allow entrepreneurs to think outside the box and discover their true business potential.”
The first class will begin in November of 2013 and consist of Long Island entrepreneurs starting their businesses as well as small business owners seeking a firmer foundation of business knowledge. Students will learn how to formulate a business idea, understand financing and partnerships and communicate as a small business owner.
Small business training
The Entrepreneur Center offers services for existing small businesses in the form of business coaching. An experienced and innovative business coach will work closely with business owners to determine a small business’ needs and resources, identify goals and implement strategies to meet those goals.
During coaching sessions, a small business owner will learn how to build and manage a power team and will be held accountable to his or her goals and needs. Accountability ensures results and teaches the business owner to be cognizant of the requirements of the business in order to succeed.
Whether the goal is better employee training, building a solid business plan, implementing an effective branding and marketing strategy or increasing sales and revenue, The Entrepreneur Center’s small business training program will have a dramatic effect on the efficiency and profitability of a small business. The program is results driven but process oriented, involving the business owner in every facet of the small business’ growth.
The future of business education
Businesses with less than 20 employees make up roughly 90 percent of the employers on Long Island. Only half of all new small businesses survive past the first year, with many more closing their doors within a five year period. Building a small business is not impossible, but creating a successful, long-lived small business is a challenge for any entrepreneur. The Entrepreneur Center offers the opportunity for entrepreneurs to start off ahead of the game and stay ahead of the game with valuable knowledge and the invaluable insights of business moguls.
Welcome to the future of business education.
