The 'Entourage' movie has been given the green light

Deadline has learned today that the “Entourage” movie, that has been years in the making, has finally been given the green-light over at WB.

Series regulars Adrien Grenier (“The Devil Wears Prada”), Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven (“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For”) are all expected to reprise their roles from the hit HBO comedy.

Show creator Doug Ellin and producer Mark Wahlberg (“Pain & Gain”) have been working on the script for a while, and Ellin will direct the film.

When the show last left off, Jeremy Piven’s Ari was offered a studio head position and Adrien Grenier’s Vince was heading off to get married.

Not much is known about the film’s storyline outside of what Ellin said previously, “The crew will still be hanging out and going to fun parties.”

I never got into the show so this doesn't concern me too much, but I hope they make the film accessible to audiences that don’t know all the back-story.
