The end of the world according to the Bible, part 4

The end of the world according to the Bible, part 4.

“What we have presented this week in our examination of what the Bible states about the end of the world barely touches the surface of the myriad of Bible passages that deal with the events of that time period,” stated Dr. D. James, President and teacher here at The Lay School in Clinton, Tennessee, before The Lay School faculty here in Clinton, Tennessee. “Several years ago Sterling Ministries produced an eighteen hour video series on the prophecies of the end of time, the end of the world, and the second coming of Jesus Christ; long before the recent studies into the ancient mystery religions and mysticism were completed; studies which confirm in ancient secular (by that we mean non-Christian, not necessarily non-religious) writings the very same things that the Bible teaches. There are two opposing forces at work in this world, the forces of good which the Bible refers to as God, and the forces of evil which the Bible refers to as the Satan, or the Devil. The historical record substantiates the claims of the Bible. And the prophecies recorded in the Bible along with the reports of their fulfillment provide evidence for our faith to grow enough to recognize that this earth and the universe in which it resides could not have simply come into existence on their own, but that there is some master designer who created it all. And just as certain of the prophecies of the Bible were shown to have been fulfilled in times past, we are assured that the prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled, will be fulfilled, as we have even seen during the past 63 years, if we will only admit to the truth!”
