As the technology advances, The REAL Yellow Pages is not getting used like it use to.  Previously people would pull out the book to look up any number needed.  There’s a section in the front that gave special phone numbers like to the theaters, schools, government facilities, etc.  And in the back, there was even a section for YOUR important numbers to be added by the owner.

Now with the changes of technology, more and more often people are searching for local business on the internet.  With google being the top search engine by far, it’s important to ensure your ministry is registered to be found.  Naturally, the more google friendly you are, then the more google friendly will be to you.

Registering your business with google places is FREE and quite simple to do.  Some of the things that it gives the option to add:

  • phone number,
  • address (physical & email),
  • site,
  • pictures/video,
  • description, and so much more.
