The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music's first show tonight (Photos)

Tonight is a night where you're fortunate if you don't already have plans - and if you do have plans you'll want to change them.

At 6:30 P.M. this evening The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music will be kicking off its very first public performance - the Ellis Marsalis Quartet. Taking place in the performance space in Musician's Village the ticket price for this show is only $3!

Doors open tonight at 5:30 P.M. and all proceeds will go to the The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music for their mission of serving residents and students of the Ninth Ward.
