As the summer winds down and the weather starts to get colder, it's the perfect time to make this fun, creative sweatshirt.
The original instructions I used were through a website called sheepbear.com but since making the sweatshirt, it is unavailable.
However, this video gives a some great instructions for making the ele-sweatshirt. The only differences between this video and the sweatshirt I made is that I used paint for the ear outline and the eye.
After making my ele-sweatshirt, I had a lot of left over fabric so I decided to use it as best I could: to make another sweatshirt for a friend.
Our friend loves penguins, so I drew a penguin based on the ones from Mr. Popper's Penguins, painted it and then glued it in place with fabric glue. I also painted penguin footprints on the hood and the back as an added touch.
