Click here to read more about it in an article that appeared in the Star a few weeks ago.
Since the Star article came out, the project was approved by the Town Board!
We are now seeking donations of daffodils, jonquils and boxwood to get the first part of ‘Phase 1’ underway.
In addition to plant donations, we would like to hear from local nurseries who would like to be part of our ‘plant registry’. It is just like a bridal registry- but for plants. We’ll provide the wish-list of plants that we need and a nice poster for your store, and you sell the plants that will become part of this project!
You can send an email to email@example.com to become a participating business.

For the first planting we will need 4-6 boxwood and about a hundred potted daffodils and jonquils. The next plants we will need are lavender, catmint and yellow yarrow- and a few more boxwood are always welcome!
You can also send tax-deductible donations directly to:
“Town of East Hampton,” 159 Pantigo Road East Hampton NY 11937.
Please made checks payable to 'Town of East Hampton' and put 'Litter Committee-Town Hall garden' in the memo section.
This project is for the community and needs community support to become a reality. All donations, small or large will be most appreciated, and will help beautify our Town Hall complex!
There will be a celebration on Earth Day at Town Hall on April 22, 2013.
Stay tuned for more details!
