The easiest way to make homemade applesauce

Apples are everywhere this season, whether they're filling the grocery store shelves or filling the trees at the local farms. Homemade applesauce is so flavorful, and is a great way to use fresh apples. I think I have found the easiest way to make homemade applesauce: with a crockpot!

Homemade Applesauce Recipe

10-12 medium or large apples

1/2 C water

1/4 C sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

How to Make Homemade Applesauce

Simple core and chop up your apples (you can leave the skin on for extra fiber or off for smoother sauce), mix the apple chunks with the cinnamon and sugar, put into your crockpot, and pour in the water. Cook on low 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.
